How it works

Everything the table needs to know, in one minute.

Watching ยท no account needed

Anyone can open this site and watch: live scoreboards with timers, the points table, finished games and every player's record. The Live tab shows what's on right now โ€” it updates by itself, no refreshing.

On a TV: open the ๐Ÿ“บ TV mode from the home screen. With a Chromecast on the same Wi-Fi, tap ๐Ÿ“ก Cast to TV and the board runs on the television by itself.

Playing

1 ยท Sign up โ€” just a name and password, ten seconds.
2 ยท An admin waves you in (you'll see "waiting for approval" until then โ€” you can still watch everything).
3 ยท Once approved, admins can put you on matches and pool nights. Your wins, racks and balls potted build up on your Me page.

Playing a pool night but need to leave early? Open the game and tap Withdraw from the night โ€” your played racks stay in the book and the remaining rounds re-deal fairly without you.

Scoring & formats

๐ŸŽฏ Matches โ€” 1v1 or 2v2, race to a set number of racks. Only admins enter scores.
๐ŸŽฑ Pool nights โ€” 5+ players, partners rotate every round so everyone plays four racks with four different partners. 3 points per rack win; ties split on balls potted. The top four make a best-of-3 final.
โš”๏ธ Leagues โ€” players split across tables, 1v1 single-rack round-robin in each, then the best qualify for semifinals and a final (1v1 or 2v2).
๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Team battles โ€” 2 to 4 teams; every team plays every other, player against player board by board. One point per board โ€” most boards takes the crown.

Timers: every game and round can have its own clock โ€” and if the admin sets a shot clock, the countdown turns red when a rack runs over.

Tip: in your phone browser choose Add to Home Screen โ€” PoolNight installs like an app and opens fullscreen.
